MABO has always believed in and supported a number of key values, among which respect for the environment is central to the company’s strategies. In order to make the production process constantly more sustainable, MABO has installed a photovoltaic system in the last decade. This green sensitivity makes it possible to prevent and/or reduce the impact of production on the environment. The installed plant is capable of producing one third of the company’s energy needs, reducing CO2 emissions by 100 tonnes/year.
MABO has decided to take it one step further. In the near future, it will invest in the expansion of the existing photovoltaic system, so as to make the company self-sufficient on the energy side. The project involves the installation of almost 2000 photovoltaic panels, able to cover the entire surface of the plant and provide the company with the energy needed for production.
